How would you like to spend one week of your summer meeting other high school teens from other churches, while helping with a faith-stretching construction service project. Fixin’ Up The Thumb Facts: High School youth. Home re-hab work. June 16-24, 2012. Caro, MI. $100 total cost, (your youth account can be used). Limited to 10 youth. This is a fantastic event here in our own town in our 17th year of this event. You’ll be changed, I promise!
5th: Souperbowl of Caring
The youth of our congregation will be asking everyone to donate $1 on the day of the Superbowl (February 5th). We are participating in the national Souperbowl campaign which supports local help agencies. We are planning on donating this money to the Good Samaritan food pantry.
10th: Camo Night Out
Wild Game Potluck Dinner
Friday, February 10th, 6:00 PM
Tickets: $5 from the church office
Door prizes & successful hunter prizes!
A dish to pass and some piece of camo clothing required for admittance.

12th: Euchre Party
Here's another way to make money for your youth account, and a fun afternoon for the whole family! On Sunday, February 12th, we will be hosting a potluck dinner followed by a Euchre tournament. We will start following the late service. Cost for the Euchre tournament is $5 per person. Youth will be needed to set up before, clean up after, and help run the euchre tournament.
18th: Apologetics Seminar
You are invited to attend the Theological Conference on Apologetics (Defending the Faith) on February 18 at Valley Lutheran High School, Saginaw. The conference will help you understand how to defend your faith through what history has given from an archeological perspective, the cultural aspect, and the challenge of Islam. Lunch is included, and the youth budget is covering the registration cost. Deadline for registration is February 3. We will leave St. Paul at 7:45 AM and will return around 6:00 PM.
21st & 22nd: Ash Wednesday Dinner
The youth will be serving the Ash Wednesday dinner. Youth will be preparing food right after school, serving the dinner, and cleaning up. Let’s make this a big success!
Set-up will be Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m
